Unlock PDF (Remove Password)
Remove a password you already know from a PDF, so it opens without prompting. Done entirely in your browser — you supply the password, nothing is uploaded or cracked.
Your file never leaves your device — there's no upload step at all. You can verify it: open your browser's DevTools → Network tab and watch as you use the tool. Zero file uploads.

How this works
Use the tool locally, download the result, and contact VNG only when this needs to become a repeatable workflow.
How it works
- 1
Choose the locked PDF
Drop in the password-protected file.
- 2
Enter its password
Type the password you already have for the file.
- 3
Download
A copy without the password is generated locally and downloaded.
Frequently asked questions
Can this crack a password I don't know?
No — and deliberately so. You must supply the correct password. This removes a lock you already have the key to; it is not a password cracker.
Is the file uploaded?
No. Decryption happens on your device with pdf-lib — the file and password never leave your browser.

Need this at scale — or something custom?
This tool runs entirely in your browser — that's the same privacy-first engineering we build for companies: dashboards, AI automation, data pipelines, and client platforms. One person, senior work, fast turnaround.
