Extract Text from PDF
Pull all selectable text out of a PDF into plain text you can copy or download as a .txt file — processed entirely in your browser, no upload.
Your file never leaves your device — there's no upload step at all. You can verify it: open your browser's DevTools → Network tab and watch as you use the tool. Zero file uploads.

How this works
Use the tool locally, download the result, and contact VNG only when this needs to become a repeatable workflow.
How it works
- 1
Choose your PDF
Drop in a text-based PDF (not a scan).
- 2

The text of every page appears below, page by page.
- 3
Copy or download
Copy to clipboard, or save it as a .txt file.
Frequently asked questions
Does it work on scanned PDFs?
Only if the scan already has a text layer. Image-only scans need OCR, which this tool does not perform.
Is the file uploaded?
No. Text extraction runs in your browser with pdf.js — nothing leaves your device.

Need this at scale — or something custom?
This tool runs entirely in your browser — that's the same privacy-first engineering we build for companies: dashboards, AI automation, data pipelines, and client platforms. One person, senior work, fast turnaround.
