Questions
Will it make my photo look worse?
A little, by design: compression throws away detail your eye is unlikely to miss. At 75% most photos look the same on a phone. Lower the quality slider until you see a difference, then go one step back.
Why did my PNG barely change?
PNG is lossless, so it only gets smaller when you shrink the picture. Choose JPG or WebP to save more. JPG has no transparency.
Can it open iPhone HEIC photos?
Yes. HEIC photos are converted to JPG first, then compressed.
