How to use it.

Is my password sent anywhere?
No. The file is locked on your device and the password never leaves it.
How strong is the lock?
The file is encrypted with AES-256, the strongest standard PDF encryption. A short or common password is still easy to guess, so use a long one.
I forgot the password. Can you get it back?
No. Nothing is uploaded, so there is nothing for us to recover from, and nobody can open the file without it.
